October 2012
- First York have made a number of changes to their services:
- 4 now runs every 7–8 minutes between University and Foxwood Lane, with alternate buses continuing to Acomb as 5
- 5 now runs from Ainsty via Danebury Drive, Acomb Front Street and Cornlands Road to Foxwood Lane, continuing as 4
- 11 no longer serves South Bank loop during the daytime (evening service remains)
- 12 now runs from Foxwood Lane and Woodthorpe to Elmfield Avenue and Monks Cross (evening and Sunday service Foxwood Lane to York only)
- 13 now runs from Copmanthorpe to Haxby West Nooks, reduced to every hour (evening and Sunday service Haxby West Nooks to York only)
- 14, new service running every 30 minutes from York Sport Village via Hull Road, York and Beckfield Lane to Acomb
- 15, new service running every 30 minutes between York and South Bank loop
- 16, alternate journeys now run via Holly Bank or Hamilton Drive. At Acomb, continue as 14 to Beckfield Lane
- Transdev Unibus 44 has revised timetable, with some weekday journeys extended to Sport Village, Dunnington and Stamford Bridge, and additional early morning services at weekends
September 2012
- Transdev York have made minor changes to the Sunday 112 and 113 services to improve reliability
- Transdev Harrogate have withdrawn the 77. Passengers travelling between Harrogate and Wetherby should use Transdev Harrogate 770 or Connexionsbuses X70
- Minor changes to Arriva 4, 8 and 402/403
- 581 (Settle to Kirkby Lonsdale) now run by Little Red Bus with minor changes
July 2012
- Arriva J32 (Selby to XScape, Wednesdays only) and Transdev 45 (York to Maze and Air Museum, daily) launched for the summer season
- Arriva 91, 94 and 95 in Whitby see reduced early morning and evening services
- Arriva 5/5A/5B (Middlesbrough–Loftus–Whitby) has a revised timetable, with all buses taking the same route between Middlesbrough and Guisborough, and a change of registration at Loftus
June 2012
- Coastliner start their summer timetable, with additional services running on 840 (Leeds - Whitby), 843 (Leeds - Scarborough) and 845 (Leeds - Bridlington). Route change for 844, which now runs via Cross Gates and Thorpe Park (instead of Seacroft), and runs to University of York (instead of Heworth and Ashley Park), as well as now running hourly on Sunday daytimes
May 2012
- Stephensons will be running a new limited bank holiday service on 29, 31X, 181, 183, 193 and 194
April 2012
- ConnexionsBuses have extended one X70 an hour to run round Wetherby to Deighton Bar, plus minor changes between York and Wetherby. A reduced service will operate on 142/143 on schooldays only (Eddie Brown services largely unaffected)
- Burnley & Pendle 25 (Burnley to Keighley) increased to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime
- Pride of the Dales have minor changes to timetables for 72 (Skipton - Grassington - Buckden), 73 (Skipton - Greenacres) and 74 (Ilkley - Bolton Abbey - Grassington
- Stephensons have taken over several routes from Hutchinsons: 59 and 60 from Thirsk (minor changes to the timetables), 173 and 174 from Pickering, 190 from Malton to Foxholes (was Postbus 367) and 193 around Malton
- Ryecat (Little Red Bus) have taken over several routes from Hutchinsons: 175, 176, 177, 184/185 and 187 around Malton and Kirkbymoorside
- Transdev 19B/19L has some early morning and evening services withdrawn
- Arriva 42 Fri/Sat evening and Sunday daytime services resumed. Transdev 124 withdrawn
- Dalesbus services start for summer 2012:
- 127 and 800 start on Good Friday
- Summer timetable on 883/884 and new service 881 (replacing 890, starting from Silsden/Skipton, then running between Malham, Settle and Ingleton) start on Easter Sunday
- Other Dalesbus summer services will start again in May
- The Moorsbus will run on Sundays and bank holidays from 1 April to 28 October (including Good Friday and Easter Saturday). Changes from last year's timetables are:
- There will be no weekday service during the school summer holidays
- Minor timing changes on the M7/M8 to and from Hutton-le-Hole
- There will be no Heritage Bus service
- Transdev York have taken over the M15 and journeys on M2, M3 and M4 from Stephensons
