Summer service

This service has now finished for Summer 2013. The Moorsbus network has been refused funding from NPA for 2014, so it is not yet known whether there will be a service at all in the future. If you want to see this service return next summer, please lobby your councillor, your MP and the National Parks Authority to try to convince them that the service is worthwhile. Why not join Friends of Moorsbus on Facebook?

This service is operated by EYMS as part of the Moorbus network, on behalf of North Yorkshire Moors National Park, using low-floor buses, running on Sundays and bank holidays from 24 March to 27 October (2013 season), including Good Friday and Easter Saturday

The Moorsbus network is a comprehensive set of routes covering the North Yorkshire Moors and providing links to surrounding areas. There are connecting services to Helmsley and other areas of the Moors. A one-day pass gives you the freedom to explore the whole National Park by bus and by foot for just £6 (£9 from Malton and beyond)

For more frequent daily services between Malton, Pickering and Thornton le Dale, see 840
