Good Friday (29 March)
A Sunday service will operate on all routes except:
- York Park & Ride: normal weekday service
- Arriva Yorkshire (Selby area): Saturday service on all routes, except 42 and 415/416 (weekday evening service) and 3 (weekday service)
- Arrive in Style: Saturday service on 923
- ConnexionsBuses will run a normal service on X52/X53 and Wharfedale routes only, with no service on other routes
- Dalesbus: 870/874, 872 and 883/884 will not run
- First Leeds (X84): Saturday service
- Little Red Bus: Saturday service on 78A only, with no service on other routes
- Little White Bus: weekday service (to connect with trains), not 855 Sunday service
- Pennine: normal weekday service
- Pride of the Dales: normal weekday service

A normal Sunday service will operate on all routes:
- Dalesbus: start of 800, 874, 881 and 883/884 summer timetable
Easter Monday (1 April)
A Sunday service will operate on all routes except:
- York Park & Ride: normal weekday service
May Day (6 May) and Spring Bank Holiday (27 May)
A Sunday service will operate on all routes except:
- York Park & Ride: normal weekday service
- Transdev Coastliner: Saturday service
- Dales & District services around Thirsk: bank holiday services will run as normal
- Pennine: Saturday service
- Stephensons: limited service on 29/31/31X, 181/183, 193 and 194 – see timetables for details
- Little White Bus will run a normal weekday service (instead of 855)
York Races
A frequent shuttle bus, route 197, runs from York railway station to the Racecourse on race days, at least every 15 minutes. These services are operated by various operators including First, Transdev and Pullman.
Buses run from the station from 1100 until about 10 minutes before the first race. Buses return from the racecourse from 1630 until about 1 hour after the last race

On other days, the 11 runs to the main entrance, and there are frequent services to Tadcaster Road, 5–10 minutes walk away
Harrogate Spring Flower Show
From Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 April (2013), Transdev Harrogate will run a shuttle bus between Harrogate bus station (stand 1) and the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Buses leave Harrogate at 0850 then every 20 minutes until 1730 (1650 on Sunday)
Buses leave the Showground at 0910 then every 20 minutes until 1730 then 1800 (1710 on Sunday)
Single fare: £3.00 – return fare: £4.50

Great Yorkshire Show
For the three days of the Great Yorkshire Show in July, Harrogate & District run free shuttle buses at frequent intervals from Harrogate bus station (at least every 20 minutes)
Buses start running at about 0730, and finish at about 2000 (Tuesday/Wednesday) or 1900 (Thursday), and are timed to connect with trains from Leeds and York.
There will be no shuttle service from Hornbeam Park this year.
All buses around Harrogate are likely to be disrupted due to heavy traffic over those three days so please allow additional time for your journey.
Scarborough open-top buses
Scarborough & District run open-top buses during the summer
- 108 runs every hour, from Scarborough Bowls Centre to "The Royal" on Esplanade Crescent via Marine Drive (daily, 18 July to 31 August 2009)
- 109 runs a frequent service, from North Bay (The Sands) to South Bay (The Spa). Buses run daily from 4 April to 1 November 2009, starting at 0930 and finishing at 1800, or 2000 in the school summer holidays

Whitby open-top tour buses
Coastal & Country run a Whitby tour bus during the summer
Buses run a circuit from the town centre to the Whalebones, West Cliff, the Abbey and returning to the town centre, which takes about an hour.
From 1 April to 6 September 2009, buses run daily from 1000 to 1700. From 7 September to 31 October 2009, buses run daily except Monday and Friday from 1000 to 1530.
Adult: £4.00 – Senior citizen/Child/Student: £3.00 – Family: £10.00 – tickets are valid all day
