There are several Park & Ride sites around the York by-pass and ring road

Monks Cross Park & Ride is on A1036 Malton Road, near the junction with A64 from Malton and the A1237 Ring Road, to the east of York. Car parking is free, and there is a frequent bus service to the centre of York. Buses run at least every 10 minutes during the day, with buses running more frequently at busy times
