This service is operated by Lancashire United. A Sunday service runs on bank holidays

Between Preston and Clitheroe, all buses run as 280. Between Clitheroe and Skipton, buses run as X80 (via West Marton) or 180 (via Barnoldswick). Buses leaving Preston or Skipton will show "Clitheroe" as the destination for the first part of the journey, but through fares are available and passengers do not need to change buses. This is due to EU regulations around routes more than 50km long

Buses to Preston call at Skipton railway station about 2–3 minutes after leaving the bus station. Buses to Skipton call at the railway station about 2-3 minutes before arriving at the bus station
