- Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire 581 now runs every 2 hours from Settle to Kirkby Lonsdale via Ingleton
- Little Red Bus B1 now runs 4-5 times a day from Slaidburn to Horton in Ribblesdale via Settle
- Summary timetable added showing all buses between York and Easingwold
- Arriva 874 (Ilkley - Buckden) now provides a Sunday service throughout the year
September 2008
- Coastliner starts the winter timetable for 840 (Leeds - Whitby) and 845 (Leeds - Bridlington)
- Transdev has taken over all services previously operated by Veolia
- Arriva 402/403 (Selby - Leeds) reduced to hourly between Hambleton and Leeds during the daytime
- Temporary timetable in place for 7 weeks on 18 (York - Holme on Spalding Moor) because of roadworks at Bubwith Bridge
- Diversions in place for 3 weeks on 7 (York - Designer Outlet), 11 (Bishopthorpe - Ashley Park), X46 (York - Hull) and 415 (York - Selby) because of roadworks on Nunnery Lane
- Diversion in place for 57 (Knaresborough - Boroughbridge) because of roadworks around Flaxby
- Revised stopping arrangements for all buses in Skipton for 4 months because the bus station is closed for reconstruction
August 2008
- Revised timetable for First York services, with additional evening journeys, on

- Minor changes to HCT 142 (York - Ripon)
July 2008
- Arriva have made minor alterations to the timetables for 42 (York - Selby), 412/413 (York - Wetherby) and 415 (York - Selby), with many journeys running a few minutes earlier
- Harrogate & District X54 (York - Harrogate) increased to every hour
- John Smith & Sons Heritage Bus service starts the summer season (until end of August) running from Helmsley to Thirsk, Castle Howard, Hutton le Hole and Rievaulx
- Dales Experience Bus 814 starts the summer season (until 14 September) running from Bradford and Skipton to Malham
June 2008
- Some First York services have been changed:
- 6 (Osbaldwick - Clifton Moor) has a revised evening timetable
- 10 (Stamford Bridge - Poppleton) reduced to every 30 mins
- 16 (Acomb - Monks Cross) runs along Hamilton Drive and not via Holly Bank Estate
- 22 (York - Skelton) has an hourly service restored throughout the day
- 23 (York - Clifton Moor) has been withdrawn
- Dalesbus 807 and 808 launched, linking Ribblehead and Hawes to Buckden and Leyburn

- Stephenson's services in Ryedale heavily revised and improved:
- 29 (York - Easingwold via Linton on Ouse) has a new timetable
- 31X (York - Helmsley) runs 4-5 times daily. Services to Kirkbymoorside reduced
- 181 (York - Malton via Sheriff Hutton) runs 4 times daily
- 183 (Malton - Castle Howard via Bulmer) runs 2-4 times daily
- 194 (Malton - Castle Howard via Slingsby) runs every 2 hours
- 195 and 196 (Malton - Helmsley) run every 2 hours
- Harrogate & District launches new service X54 from Harrogate to York
- Arriva NE X26 and X27 (Darlington to Richmond and Catterick Garrison) now runs every 15 minutes, and 29 (Darlington - Richmond) and 34 and X34 (Darlington to Catterick Village) have new timetables
- Arriva Yorkshire 4 has some journeys extended to Goole, and 8 has some journeys cut back to Drax
March 2008
- Minor revisions to timetable for AirCoach
- Vintage Omnibus service 127 runs on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays from Ripon to Garsdale (until end of October)
